A Compassionate & Understanding Therapist

It takes courage to attend a counseling or therapy session. But making the decision is a critical step you must take towards recovery. Read on to learn more about how I can support you as a therapist.

Sexual Abuse Therapy — $120/Hour

As a survivor of sexual abuse, I understand the feelings that come with this trauma. I promise to listen, understand, and — importantly — believe you even if others don't. I teach coping techniques to sexual abuse victims through a trauma-focused, therapeutic approach. The open expression of feelings is always encouraged during my sessions. I create an environment that is positive, safe, confidential, warm, and nonjudgmental. Through my therapy, I've witnessed people grow into individuals who are able to process their trauma without feeling guilt or shame.

Anger Management Therapy — $40 to 50/6 - 12 Sessions

Learning to manage your anger effectively can be truly transformative. During my anger management sessions, I provide my patients with coping skills, offer conflict resolution techniques, and help them to identify triggers. Anger management also helps to increase assertiveness in conversation and improve self-awareness. Many patients have noticed that this therapy has helped them to improve behavior issues, decision making, and even personal relationships. I support my patients as they learn to approach situations in a new way by reconstructing their thinking patterns. It is my aim to help my patients achieve a peaceful mind. To do so, I encourage them to explore their inner selves in a warm, safe, and calming environment. Additionally, I complement these approaches with relaxation techniques and mindfulness.

Individual Disorder Treatment Services — $120/Hour

No two people or situations are alike, which is precisely why I believe in personalizing my services to cater to an individual's specific disorder or needs. During an individual session, I offer new ways of thinking and approaching problems. It's important to me that my patients have the ability to rationalize and explore their current beliefs and value systems. Some of the disorders I work with include:
  • ADHD
  • PTSD
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression
  • Autism
  • Separation
  • Reactive Attachment
  • Sexual Abuse Trauma
  • Bipolar Disorders

I make use of a variety of techniques, depending on what I believe will most help individual patients. Some of my techniques include:
  • Psychotherapy Education
  • Trauma-Focused Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness Techniques/Therapy
  • Relaxation Techniques
  • Grounding Techniques
